MEET JULIA
My Fitness Journey
My personal fitness journey began in 2012 after I set my mind to getting in the best shape of my life for my wedding in 2013. Prior to this, my friends had playfully dubbed me the "fast food queen" and I would love to joke about my unused gym membership. I set a goal to get into my best shape and chose to not quit. I had slips, challenges, obstacles along the way, but I was consistent and my determination helped me immensely.
Post-wedding, I realized I was really passionate about lifting and nutrition and really enjoyed sharing about it. I loved what my body looked like with more muscle and was committed to building more of it! Along the way, I began training in person and later took on online clients.
From 2013-2017 I juggled coaching and working as a full time sales associate for a catering company where I booked weddings and special events. While I really enjoyed being in events, I knew I wanted to follow my dream of making fitness my full time career. I quit my corporate gig in early 2017 and haven't looked back. I'm so glad and feel so lucky to be able to focus so much of my time on my clients and dedicating my career to helping people achieve their goals...

I’m not just a fitness nerd! I’m a wife and a mom of two boston terriers ( Frank& Pep) and a human child as well (Lucy.. she just turned one). Want to know some weird facts about me?
-
I’ve been an Elvis Presley fan since I was little. I love oldies but I also love hip hop - old and new.
-
I loathe bananas. I’m obsessed with food and will eat nearly anything but those gnarly things.
-
I am loyal to a fault.
-
I was very unsure about being a mom until I became one. Now I realize it’s the best job I’ve ever had and my girl is my drive.

...because believe it or not, I was once a girl who had crippling anxiety about going to the gym. What if someone sees me do something wrong?? What if I grab a weight that I can't lift? What if people see me all sweaty and red-faced?!
These were all the fears and self-consciousness that would get me so worked up I'd just slip around from machine to machine in hopes I wouldn't be noticed OR I'd hop on a treadmill for 30 mins and go home. Surely no one was watching me on the treadmill!
It is through those experiences of fear that I was able to get to this place of success! I've gone from a bride ~ to figure competitor ~ to powerlifter ~ to mom and fitness enthusiast. Fitness is a journey. Where you were, what you have been and where you are heading next will change over time. Why?Because everyone's body, progress and goals are different. It is my mission to find what specifically works for you in this "season of life." Plus give you support and hold you accountable for your goals all while experiencing fitness as it should be...
personal, motivating, FIERCE!
